GLASSWARE AND COLLECTIBLES WITH A PAST
And Another Chance at a Future
Welcome to Past Wares!
Take a leisurely stroll down memory lane to the past or discover the past for the first time. This site has lots of pictures and information about glassware and collectibles
Past Wares is currently designed as an information site and as a promotional site for my e-stores. The site will feature information about glassware from the 1890s to the present as well as kitchen and decorative collectibles. The items featured on this site are from my private collection and many have been listed for sale on line,. I started selling on the Ecrater's site in 2004. However, I have recently begun selling exclusively at PAST WARES at Ruby Lane. Although I have some familiar glassware you may find on other sites, I also have some very unusual pieces that I would classify as one-of-a-kind and many of the patterns are hard to find and even rarely found. I take pride in listing unusual and hard to find pieces of glass and offer them for sale at reasonable prices.
Among the many glassware makers featured are Bryce, McKee, Cambridge, Fostoria, Duncan Miller, Morgantown Glass, and Heisey. There are bowls, vases and spooners, cream and sugar sets, plates, and beautiful crystal stemware sets including antique barware. A history of each of these glass makers will be discussed on this site.
In addition to the glassware, there are many collectible items such as music boxes, and kitchen and tableware items from collections by Otagiri, Fitz & Floyd, Lefton, Schmid, and Mann, Enesco, and UCAGCO. A portion of this site will be devoted to these brand names as well.
