CUT GLASS:

Once you have seen and felt a real piece of cut glass, it is no longer difficult to distinguish between pressed or cut glass.  A piece of cut glass has sharp edges and the cuts refract light from all directions.  Cut glass is definitely a beauty to behold and there is little wonder that cut glass is typically very expensive. Also to appreciate the Early Cut Glass it is necessary to understand the process that was necessary to make these very beautiful items. (Photos of cut glass will be added soon.)
