This stunning EAPG butter dish features the Diamond Point Disk or Crescent pattern. Bryce Higbee made the pattern first in 1896; J.B. Higbee made it in 1905; and in 1916 New Martinsville Glass made the pattern. This pattern was made in a complete table service and was in production for more than 10 years.

The butter dish is 8 inches across and 5.5 inches tall. The glass is still beautifully clear and there is some wear to the bottom (as expected) but there are no chips or cracks on the top. The bottom has roughness around the edges, almost like the glass metal oozed when the dish was being made. It is far too consistent to be chips or roughness caused by daily use.
